THE WORLD OF ICARIS
Welcome to my world. I hope that while you're here you will find a piece of work that really inspires you or move you in some way or another. I've been drawing all my life and it always has been a passion of mine. I pray that as I continue to grow in skill and ability..."Mastering my craft", as some would call it, I will produce even better works than the ones you see here. Thank you for visiting. Your comments and ideas are honestly welcomed.
Allow me please to provide a little information about the work that I produce. My inspirations for any painting or drawing are deeply influenced by many of the great masters such as Rodin, Klimt, and of course Ruben. Most of these guys' paintings and drawings have heavy sensuality overtones and vibes. From the way the figures are positioned to the way they interact with one another.
The paintings and drawings are not meant to be pornographic in anyway nor are they meant to be in 'bad taste'. The paintings and studies are produced with the utmost respect for the human body and how from the very beginning of time when man was only able to draw stick figures on the walls of caves. The desire to represent the human form has been a desire for all who attempted to explore the arts. And so, like many who have come before me, I too desire to represent the human body in all its glory and capture the imagination of many who happen to be inspired by it.
